The client wanted to soften the serious, corporate feel typically associated with an investment firm and introduce more personality into the workplace. The pantry area was seen as an opportunity to create a more relaxed and uplifting space where people could recharge and connect between meetings.
Ekous introduced Vertical Ceiling Fins in layered shades of beige, paired with integrated lighting to add colour, depth and energy to the space. The fins created a stronger visual rhythm across the pantry while also contributing to the acoustic comfort of the area.
The result was a brighter, more expressive breakout space that helped shift the mood away from a purely corporate setting — creating a more relaxed environment for informal conversations, quick catch-ups and a change of pace after long meetings.
From concept to installation, we help architects, designers, project managers, contractors, and businesses create environments that inspire, perform, and stand the test of time.
